Stanley Mykita

Principal

Dear Parents, Staff, Stakeholders and Students,
It is with great gratitude and enthusiasm that I have been given the opportunity to join the Wesley Chapel Elementary Community. I am truly honored to be appointed the Principal, and am looking forward to working with Mrs. Purcell, the faculty and the entire Wesley Chapel Elementary community in their continuing effort to make our school “the best” in the state.
I am a Florida native and attended school in the Tampa area before joining the United States Air Force. After which time I attended St. Leo College where I received my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education and a Master of Education degree in Educational Leadership.
In 1994 I began my teaching career in Hillsborough County where I taught third through fifth grade for nine years. In 2003 I was appointed as the Assistant Principal of R.B.Cox Elementary, and more recently I have served as the Assistant Principal of San Antonio for the past nine years.
It takes a village to raise a child. Parents, teachers, community members and administration all play a key parts in helping our students meet and exceed the expectations set for them. I look forward to partnering with you all in helping your child(ren) become the best that they can be.
Please enjoy the rest of your summer and feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.

Sincerely,
Stan Mykita
