Red Ribbon Week is an alcohol, tobacco and other drug and violence prevention awareness campaign observed annually in October in the United States. The teachers, students and staff of Wesley Chapel Elementary will observe the week with daily activities and celebrations.

 

 

 

Tuesday, October 23

  • Kick off Red Ribbon week with signing drug free pledge
  • “Drugs give me the Blues” – wear blue jeans

Wednesday, October 24

  • Crime combat vehicle presentation by the Pasco County Sheriff’s office
  • “Sock it to Drugs” – Crazy Sock Day

Thursday, October 25

  • Create a drug free mural in the bus loop.
  • “Put a Cap on Drugs.” – Crazy Hat Day

Friday, October 26

  • Youth Alliance Bully presentation
  • “Shade Out Drugs“ – Wear sunglasses
