Health screenings will be conducted on Thursday, September 27, 2012 at Wesley Chapel Elementary School. These screenings are required by Florida Statutes.
The following screenings will be administered as determined by grade level. Please note that these screenings do not replace your child’s need for regular health care check-ups.
Kindergarten: Vision, Hearing
First Grade: Vision, Hearing, Height, Weight, BMI
Third Grade: Vision, Height, Weight, BMI
Parents will be notified of the results of the screenings only if medical follow-up is necessary. If you do not want your child to participate in the screening, you must send in a written request for exclusion at least one week before the screening date listed above.
If your child wears eyeglasses, PLEASE make sure that they bring them to school on that date. Also, you may visit the following website to calculate your child’s body mass index.
