As you are aware, the teachers at WCES do their best to encourage parental involvement. The increased national academic demands placed on students are higher than ever before and teachers must judiciously use their planning time in the mornings and have little, if any, time to conduct impromptu parent conferences. Please make every attempt to prearrange conferences with your child’s teacher. We are always happy to meet with you providing we have a day or two advanced notice. Additionally, if you are dropping off your son or daughter in the morning, please avoid the temptation to linger about after the tardy bell as the day has begun for teaching and learning.
